2 simple ways to fix the ‘Search console error: Logos missing URL’ field in WordPress

This Logos missing URL issue often comes because you are using an old WordPress version as the issue is with your website’s schema. The other reason for this issue is the theme or plugins that you are using have made the schema of your site broken.

1. You have not uploaded any logo in the Site Identity section of WordPress

How to fix Logos missing URL issue in Search Console

Solution 1:

1. Login to WordPress.
2. Go to Appearance-> Customize option.
3. In Customize window, under Site Identity, upload a logo image.

Solution 2:

If by any chance, your theme has deleted the option from Customize or you really don’t want to use any logo, you do have an alternative option.

• Log in to WordPress Admin.
• Install the RankMath SEO plugin. (or any other SEO plugin).
• After installing the plugin, go to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.
• There you will get to see the Upload Logo option.
  

• Upload a logo there.
• Go to Search Console and Go to the error page.
• Click on the Validate Fix button.

In Yoast SEO Plugin, this option will be like this

1. Log in to WordPress.
2. Install the Yoast SEO plugin.
3. Go to the setting of the plugin.
4. Under Setting-> Search Appearance, you will see the option to upload an organization logo.
5. Upload a logo there.
